EXPERIENCE THE FIFTY LUXURIOUS APARTMENTS AT THE NEW HILTON
The new luxury hotel Conrad, in addition to the 50 apartments, will have 280 rooms and suites.
At the beginning of 2025 it is expected to open the integrated tourist complex that until now was known as Hilton, but already the 50 apartments that will be developed on the top four floors have reportedly been sold. It thus appears from the result that the project of transforming Hilton into a complex complex of hospitality and other high-level activities was enthusiastically received by the market. However, the majority of buyers are Greek.
The top two floors, located below the old Galaxy, are also the ones that sold the most. The average price per square meter is reportedly 24,000 euros. These levels accommodate various apartment types, mostly of conservative size, and one large residence, market information states. The two lower floors were sold according to the same sources for 21,000 euros per square meter. The apartments on the top two floors bear the Waldorf Aatoria brand, while the two below have the Conrad brand.
The works started in January 2022 and are expected to be completed at the end of 2024 and the beginning of 2025. Additional buildings will also be developed on the building block that has housed the landmark hotel of the capital for decades, since the property has a significant unexploited building factor. The relevant investment of the owner “Ioniki Xenodocheiaki”, interests of the Konstantakopoulos group, in building facilities, infrastructure and equipment will exceed 130 million, in addition to the 145 million it has already spent since 2016 on the purchase of the property. In total, that is, the investment will exceed 275 million and may, according to market circles, exceed 300 million in its final phase due to the rise in the cost of construction materials.
The new luxury hotel Conrad, in addition to the 50 apartments, will have 280 rooms and suites. The complex will also house signature restaurants, themed retail spaces, entertainment and wellness facilities, and a state-of-the-art members’ club. This is a large-scale project, which, however, will preserve the architectural heritage of the building and the timeless facades designed by Yiannis Moralis, notes the company.
For the operation of the hotel and the support of the luxury residences, “Ioniki Hotel” has signed an agreement with Hilton Worldwide and its two leading luxury brands, Conrad and Waldorf Astoria. In particular, the Waldorf Astoria Residences will have privileged access to the facilities and services of the new destination, the complex will operate a private lounge, as well as wellness areas for residents.
