NEW EUROPEAN UNION CONSTRUCTION AND DEMOLITION WASTE MANAGEMENT PROTOCOL

The European Union has published the updated version of the protocol for the management of waste arising from constructions and demolitions, which also contains guidelines for controls determined before demolition and renovation works, informs a post on the TEE website. The protocol entitled EU Construction & Demolition Waste Management Protocol, including guidelines for pre-demolition and pre-renovation audits of construction works, is addressed to the construction industry, industry, small and medium enterprises and entrepreneurs.
Construction and demolition waste (CDW) is the largest source of waste for Europe, and better management of it can bring significant environmental, economic and social benefits.
